SLP's Ice Scratcher: a highly functional and unique accessory. It creates a constant spray of ice chips on the slide rail hifax and running board tunnel heat exchangers on liquid cooled sleds. Ice spray cools and lubricates slide rail hifax, when on hard-packed snow or ice, to prevent hifax wear, over-heating, and loss of top speed. On liquid-cooled snowmobiles ice spray keeps the engine running cooler. Ice Scratcher is spring loaded to float with changes in trail surface. When not needed, it can be locked to upper side of ski.
